On the painting language
In my practice, abstract art isn't a stylistic choice — it's the only way I know to speak about things that have no name. Each painting starts from a deeper inner question and ends when that question has become form, colour and silence.
I work with oil on canvas, layer by layer. I'm interested in abstract painting that can be lived with — a kind of modern art that doesn't impose itself but becomes the voice of a room. Many works are made as interior paintings, thinking about light, the texture of the wall and the rhythm of footsteps. They sit well alongside mineral plaster walls, natural wood and a calm, neutral palette — in a living room, bedroom or office where a person spends real time.
Three things that set this apart
Each painting is the only one of its kind. Oil on canvas, signed on the reverse, with a certificate of authenticity.
Buy without gallery middlemen or markups. Speak directly with the artist about the work, the size and shipping.
Before buying, you can request a free visualisation of the painting on your wall. If the right work isn't there yet, it can be made on commission.
Professional packing and a specialist art courier. 2–4 business days in Latvia, up to 7 across Europe.
Custom work
Sometimes the painting you're looking for hasn't been made yet. I create individual artworks for a specific wall, room and atmosphere — from a quiet conversation and a sketch to a finished oil on canvas, made for you.
