Frequently asked questions about buying paintings
Are the paintings originals?
- Yes. Every work is an original, created with oil paints on canvas. All paintings are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
How is delivery handled in Latvia?
- Artworks can be picked up in person at Klinta's art studio in Riga, or if you'd like to use express delivery, such as DHL, UPS, FedEx, please get in touch with me before placing your order!
Do you offer delivery and installation at home?
- Yes, for an additional fee. Get in touch if you're interested!
Do you deliver paintings?
- Yes. Paintings can be received at the studio or by courier in Latvia and abroad. Each work is carefully packed for safe transport.
Do you ship internationally?
- Yes. I deliver paintings throughout the European Union and to other countries by prior arrangement.
How is the painting packed?
- Professional fine-art packaging: protective paper, foam padding and a custom wooden crate for large-format works.
Can I return a painting?
- Yes, within 14 days of receipt, provided the work is undamaged. Return shipping is paid by the buyer.
How can I pay?
- Bank transfer (SEPA) and international wire transfer.
Is it possible to commission a painting individually?
- Yes. Paintings are also created on individual commission, adjusting the size, colour palette and mood to a specific interior.
How long does it take to create a commissioned painting?
- Usually within 4–6 weeks, depending on the size and complexity of the work.
Do you help choose the most suitable painting?
- Yes. If you are not sure about the size, colour scheme or composition, I will be happy to help you find the right work for your space.
How do I choose the right size for my room?
- A general rule — the painting fills 50–75% of the free wall width. If unsure, send a wall photo and Klinta will help with a visualisation.
Is it possible to see what the painting will look like in my interior?
- Yes. Send a photo of the room and I will prepare a visualisation to help evaluate the most suitable work and size.
How do I care for an oil painting?
- Keep it in a room with stable temperature and humidity (40–60%), away from direct sunlight and radiators. Dust with a soft, dry brush every 2–3 months.
Do you collaborate with interior designers and architects?
- Yes. I am happy to collaborate with interior designers, architects, real estate developers and hospitality projects. Both finished paintings and individually created works are available.
Are the paintings framed?
- Most works are made on gallery-depth canvas and look complete even without a frame. If the interior requires a special solution, I collaborate with professional framing studios and will be happy to help choose and make the most suitable frame.
Is it possible to view the paintings in person?
- Yes. Paintings can be viewed at my studio in Latvia, by prior arrangement of a visit time.
Will the painting look exactly like the photograph?
- Each work is photographed as accurately as possible, however the colour tone may differ slightly depending on screen settings and room lighting.
